I am back home

It’s awfully difficult to return back into real life once you’ve been away visiting brand a new grandbaby.  My son and his wife had their first baby in January and my daughter and her husband had their first in in March just 7 weeks later.  My kids do not live close to me so it is a treat when I get a chance to see them, not to mention the now new additions to our family.  Is there anything better than this?

It’s a good thing I love all that I do here in New Wilmington, PA or I would be hard-pressed to stick around.  I love my jobs, tho, and it is a great blessing to do things that I love!  Jobs?  Yes, I do more than preserve flowers for people.  I am also a musician.  I studied voice and went into church music after graduating in 1974.  My heart has always been in church music.  I am a Chancel choir director now and a handbell director both at the church and at Westminster College in New Wilmington.  So between that and working with beautiful flowers what’s not to love about what I do?

And the people in my life?  My family and town family and church family……..wow…….great!

So, maybe it is good to be home……..at least this home.  If I have to go anywhere after such a wonderful vacation it’s good that I can rest in this place.

I will be updating more often now.  It’s time to look forward to Spring and the new weddings on the way.  What an incredibly lovely time of year.

Blessings,

Anne
